Device Identifier (IDFA)

With your explicit consent (via iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt), we collect your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). This is used solely to provide personalized content recommendations.

You can deny this permission or revoke it anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

Card Images

When you scan a card, the image is sent to our servers for analysis. The image is deleted immediately after processing. We do not store, retain, or use your card images for any other purpose.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

Personal information (name, email, phone)
Location data
Contacts or calendar
Photos (beyond temporary processing)
Financial information
Browsing history

3. How We Use IDFA

The IDFA is used only for personalized content recommendations within the app, helping us show you relevant cards, market insights, and features based on your interests.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Your Choices

Opt-out of IDFA: Deny the tracking permission when prompted, or disable it in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking
Use without tracking: The app works fully without IDFA consent

6. Children's Privacy

SnapCard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
