Common problems and fixes

The scanner identified the wrong card. What do I do?

Retake the photo on a flat, matte surface in daylight or under a bright lamp, with all four borders inside the frame and no glare. If the match is still wrong, open the card in your collection, edit the details and, if needed, set a manual price. Wrong matches are most common on foreign-language cards and on parallels whose only difference is a foil pattern.

The value looks too high or too low.

Tap into the sales list under the value. The estimate summarises recent recorded sales, and a single unusual sale can pull an average for a card that trades rarely. Compare your card's condition and parallel to the sales shown; if none apply, override the price by hand.

The grade estimate does not match what PSA gave the card.

That can happen, most often on surface issues the camera did not pick up. The estimate is an opinion to guide submission decisions. If you have the slab, scan it and the app will use the grader's grade instead.

Scanning is stuck or says it cannot connect.

Scanning needs an internet connection. Check Wi-Fi or cellular data, confirm SnapCard is allowed to use cellular data in Settings, and try again. If the problem persists, force-quit the app and reopen it.

How do I cancel SnapCard Pro?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose SnapCard and tap Cancel Subscription. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

How do I restore Pro on a new device?

Install SnapCard, open the Pro screen and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase. Your collection returns through iCloud if it was synced.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find the SnapCard charge and request a refund. We cannot issue refunds directly.

Where is my collection stored, and how do I delete it?

On your phone, and with Pro also in your own iCloud. There is no SnapCard account and no copy on our servers. Deleting the app deletes the local collection; remove the iCloud data from Settings, Apple Account, iCloud, Manage Storage.

How do I delete the data SnapCard holds about me?

SnapCard holds no account data. The advertising identifier, if you allowed tracking, can be revoked in Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking. Email us if you want to confirm anything else.
