2003 NetPro to 2026 Topps Chrome

Tennis card scanner: identify the NetPro rookie or Chrome parallel and see what it sold for

In tennis the usual pricing mistake is the version, not the player. A 2003 NetPro Serena Williams is a base card under $100 or a $96,000 Elite Glossy. SnapCard photographs one tennis card, names the set, number and parallel, shows closed sales from five marketplaces and estimates condition on the PSA scale.

A tennis card scanner app photographs a tennis card, identifies player, set, year, number and parallel, and returns recent sold prices for that version. SnapCard covers 2003 NetPro, Ace Authentic, Leaf, Topps Chrome, Topps Now and Panini Instant cards. Sales come from eBay, Goldin, Heritage, PWCC and Pristine, with a PSA 1 to 10 condition estimate.

How to scan a tennis card

One card per scan, front first, back for the condition read. Ten seconds from shutter to sales.

  1. 1

    Shoot the front flat

Lay the card on a matte surface, phone square to it. Glossy and Refractor surfaces throw glare; tilt until it clears. The app reads player, set, number and parallel.

  2. 2

Turn it over for the condition read

The back carries the card number and copyright year, which pin down the set. A second photo lets the PSA-scale estimate check corners, edges and surface.

  3. 3

Compare the closed sales, then decide

Each sale shows date, marketplace and grade, so a PSA 10 Elite Glossy never sits beside a raw base card. Keep, grade or sell, then file it with the price paid.

How do I tell which 2003 NetPro card I have?

The 2003 NetPro Premier Edition is a 100-card base set. It carries the first pack-issued cards of Serena and Venus Williams, Federer, Nadal, Roddick, Kournikova, Hewitt and Hingis. Serena is card 1, Federer is cards 11 and 90, Nadal is card 70. A Glossy factory set was limited to 5,000. A 20-card Elite factory set ran 2,000 copies, with an Elite Glossy parallel of 100 per card.

A raw Serena base card is the common version. Her Elite Glossy, one of 100, brought $96,000 in PSA 10 at PWCC, reported January 2022. Her International Series signed match-worn patch card, numbered to 100, sold for $266,400 at Goldin in May 2022, still the tennis record. On a numbered card the serial stamp sets the price.
